The Proud & True Fund is an extension of the Duke Club, the fundraising arm for JMU Athletics that provides financial support to all of the Dukes’ 18 varsity sport programs and the spirit program. Duke Club members are Proud & True Fund (PATF) donors who recognize the value of the student-athlete experience and a JMU education — helping to keep JMU Athletics programs among the best in the nation.

Your gift, of any amount, will help support all of JMU's 18 varsity sport programs; the spirit program; and over 500 student-athletes.

About the Duke Club

Serving as the team behind the teams, the mission of the Duke Club is to aid in the development and delivery of resources to enhance and positively impact the JMU student-athlete experience — preparing Dukes to be champions in sport, in school, and in life by: 

• Educating alumni, donors, fans and friends of JMU about the importance of philanthropy and the impact of giving on the JMU student-athlete experience;
• Enriching the lives of current and former JMU student-athletes through annual campaigns, membership programs, capital projects and endowed giving;
• Engaging, empowering, and providing opportunities for alumni and friends of JMU to get involved through donation of funds and through sharing of their time, experience, and skills to enhance the JMU student-athlete experience.
