Diggin’Dukes is a JMU Athletics online giving campaign and opportunity for the JMU Athletics community to come together to support JMU student-athletes with gifts to individual sport program funds. Celebrate the depth and breadth of JMU Athletics’ history and help build our future by making a gift to the Dukes’ team(s) of your choice.

1 DAY

Diggin'Dukes is the one day that the JMU Athletics community has the opportunity to come together to collectively support the JMU Athletics individual sport program restricted gift funds. JMU Athletics is proud to field 18 fully-funded varsity sport programs. Funds raised during the Diggin'Dukes campaign will support sport program initiatives that are above and beyond each program's fully-funded operating budget. 

20 CAUSES

Diggin'Dukes is one campaign with 20 causes — this includes 18 varsity sport programs, cheerleading, and the Duke Club Proud & True Fund (the JMU Athletics annual fund). The Duke Club is the fundraising arm of JMU Athletics. (Gifts to the Duke Club go to the Proud & True Fund to benefit all 18 varsity sport programs, cheerleading, and the JMU Athletics general operating budget.)

500+ STUDENT-ATHLETES

Your gift, no matter the amount, will make a BIG IMPACT on more than 500 student-athletes, across 18 varsity sport programs and cheerleading. Throughout the campaign you'll have the opportunity to hear directly from JMU student-athletes, coaches, and ambassadors about how your support matters to them and their teams.

100% DIGGIN'DUKES FUNDS

Sport program funds are restricted-use funds that can only be utilized by the individual sport program. 100% of gifts made to sport program funds go to the selected sport program and are 100% tax deductible. Sport programs have the opportunity to earn bonus funds for the most donors participating. This means your gift has the opportunity to go further and make an even BIGGER impact.
