About Our Campaign

To continue showing the grit that comes from the lacrosse world in the mountains of Virginia, we need your support. As our program continues to grow and chase success, our needs shift and grow with us. 

To propel us forward, we hope to attain and maintain Catapult performance solutions software — a comprehensive data and video analysis software to capture, analyze, plan, and share every aspect of team and player performance. Utilizing this cutting-edge software will have a significant and positive impact on improving our fitness and ability to compete with the top teams in the country, while helping to reduce injury through monitoring workload. 

Additionally as we continue to dominate on the field, we strive to enhance our travel experience to our biggest annual conference games. Enhancing our travel will help us stay healthy mentally and physically, and will allow us to compete at our absolute best without worrying about time constraints and lost luggage and equipment.

How Your Support Will IMPACT the JMU Lacrosse Student-Athlete Experience

Your gift, of any amount, will help benefit our student-athlete experience.

• 1 donation of $700 will support air fare for one student-athlete
• 1 donation of $500 will help purchase Catapult equipment for one student-athlete
• 1 donation of $100 will help support travel meals for the chartered flight trip. 

About JMU Lacrosse

JMU Lacrosse’s goal is to produce not only championships and fantastic athletic performance, but also well-rounded and strong women. We work together every day in practices, lifts, and competitions to push ourselves and each other to our limits in every aspect of life so we can display our program values of Passion, Pride, Relentlessness, Discipline, and One. 

Our program is constantly chasing the best academically, athletically, and in our very own Harrisonburg community by volunteering and giving back through our partnership with Spotswood Elementary School. About Funds Raised During Diggin'Dukes

One hundred percent (100%) of funds raised in support of JMU Lacrosse during the Diggin’Dukes campaign immediately go to the JMU Lacrosse Sport Program Fund (restricted-use fund) and benefit the JMU Lacrosse student-athlete experience.

Sport program funds are restricted-use funds that can only be utilized by the individual sport program. 100% of gifts made to sport program funds go to the selected sport program and are 100% tax deductible. 

If our goal is achieved, funds that exceed our goal will go to support any team operational needs during the 2024 season. 

If we do not achieve our goal, funds raised during the Diggin’Dukes campaign will go to support team operational needs during the 2024 season. 

Funds are allocated at the discretion of our coaches and administration.
