The JMU Alumni Association has 60+ regional and affinity based alumni chapters which allow you to connect with other Dukes. Donate to these chapter scholarships today to help students' in their pursuit of education.

Black Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Provides scholarships for under-represented students entering the University as first-year students and influences such student's respective decisions to enroll at the university.

Tidewater Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Provides scholarships for an admitted first year student from the region in VA served by the Tidewater Area Alumni Chapter.

Harrisonburg Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Provide a scholarship to a Harrisonburg-area student with financial need and quality extracurricular experiences.

Metro-Washington Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Provide scholarships to James Madison University students from the Metro-Washington area of the chapter.

Philadelphia Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Provide a scholarship to an admitted first year student, from the Philadelphia Area Alumni Chapter region.

Richmond Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Support scholarships for students from the Richmond area showing a need for financial assistance and the potential for academic achievement.

Charlotte Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Support a scholarship to benefit an admitted first-year student from the Charlotte Alumni Chapter region

JMUAA Chapter Leaderboard
Sponsored by the JMUAA Board of Directors, the Alumni Chapter scholarships will have the chance to win a portion of the challenge pot of $4,000 based on percent participation. For example, if 100 Dukes donate to chapter scholarships on Giving Day and 25 of those gifts are designated to the Harrisonburg Chapter, then the Harrisonburg Scholarship will receive 25% of the total challenge pot.
