College of Integrated Science and Engineering

Making an impact - together!

There are no simple solutions to complex, real world problems.  Complicated challenges impact communities across the country and around the world. Especially now.

The students and faculty of the College of Integrated Science and Engineering are committed to addressing real world problems by applying science, emerging technologies, creative engineering, and an understanding of human society to find solutions for real people and the communities where they live and work.

Many of our faculty members and students adapted their classes and projects mid-way during the spring semester to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic. We studied COVID-19’s effects, created personal protective equipment and worked with the Red Cross on virus detection. We also worked with local high school students to teach computer science, as well as with local retirement communities to develop mobility solutions for the elderly. So while the pandemic posed some challenges, we kept innovating.

We want to keep innovating but student need has grown due to the pandemic. Your support is more critical than ever.  If you can, please consider giving to our CISE student Fund – a fund that provides scholarships and other much needed funding for our students so they can continue their work both virtually and on campus. Supporting a student now will enable a lifetime of innovation and opportunity.

Join us and together we can continue to make a powerful impact in the lives of our students and our communities.

Please consider giving to one of your favorite student funds. Together we can make a powerful impact!
