College of Visual and Performing Arts

Thank you for choosing the College of Visual and Performing Arts on #JMUGivingDay!

Students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) are passionate about the arts and the world around them. They engage in practical experiences that tackle important issues in today’s society to inspire dialogue, new thinking, and change.

Your gift will help the CVPA to recruit and retain thoughtful, talented artists who participate in creative endeavors that foster intercultural understanding—and transform lives.

Working with award-winning faculty members, students use design thinking to make masks during a pandemic, dance to reach Parkinson’s patients, theatre to compel political change, and music education to uplift the next generation. Through our work together, we encourage students to “Create Your Path” in the arts and beyond.

Your gift today makes a difference to current and future arts students—and to the world around you.
