Center for International Stabilization & Recovery

We're Multiplying the Good!

Please consider contributing to CISR’s fund so we can continue to work 2gether!

As a global leader in connecting people, resources and ideas, CISR envisions peaceful and prosperous futures for communities impacted by conflict. Since 1996, CISR has been dedicated to understanding and overcoming global conflict. In fulfilling its mission, CISR:

  • provides management training and capacity-building services to organizations in post-conflict areas and for organizations that clear landmines and other explosive contamination.
  • Hosts awareness-raising events on JMU’s campus and in the local community.
  • Works with JMU faculty and students to develop tools and conduct research.
  • produces The Journal of Conventional Weapons Destruction and To Walk the Earth in Safety.

CISR cannot do all the things we aim to achieve without your support. Our goal is to not only support our friends in humanitarian mine action but also support our local community. To celebrate JMU Giving Day and your generosity, CISR staff are volunteering in the local area to “multiply the good” of your contributions (follow us on social media for updates!).
