Unlock Research for CSM Students
In the College of Science and Mathematics, we are dedicated to transforming our undergraduate students into scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians through hands-on research experiences. Our departments place student research at the center of the curriculum, and our faculty members work to engage students both in and out of the classroom.
Dr. Joshua Ducey offers a course that takes students away from the textbook and into the world of unsolved or open-minded mathematics problems. In her lab, Dr. Ashleigh Baber examines the reactive properties of various materials and trains students in specialized spectroscopy and microscopy techniques. Ángel Garcia uses caves as his classroom and teaches students about cutting-edge 3D modeling software. These are but three of our faculty mentors who engage our students in high-quality classroom, lab, and field instruction, as well as in authentic research experiences that often end in student presentations and publications.
Your donation to one of the funds below will help our faculty unleash more opportunities to engage with our students through the support of equipment, scholarships, travel funding, and more! And those who donate $60 or more will receive an official 2022-2023 calendar with images and descriptions of the types of projects and facilities your donation supports.
